i get heated when people feel the need to go out of their way to tell me astrology/tarot etc are fake. yes i know. here’s a concept though.. literally everything in the world is fake. Everything. Things only work because you believe in them. Money? fake. The government? Fake. businesses? fake! your name? fake! nothing is real except life and death so let me have fun with my Magic Cards™
Keep an eye out for this pride flag! If you encounter someone with this pride flag as their icon, do yourself a favor and block/report them. This is the MAP pride flag. For those who don’t know, MAP stands for Minor Attracted Person, more commonly known as a pedophile. The MAP community is filled with adults who openly admit to having sexual feelings towards children, and post about how they fantasize about underaged children. It’s sick and disgusting, and these depraved individuals try and use tumblr as a platform to normalize their perversions. They appropriate the experiences of the LGBT community by feigning systematic oppression, and comparing the rightful societal condemnation of pedophiles to the violent persecution of the LGBT community, which isn’t even remotely comparable. It’s honestly reprehensible that they’d take advantage of pride by making a flag like this. It’s incrediblly dangerous because unifying symbols such as this create a platform for pedophiles to prey on children, and spread pedophilia-enabling rhetoric. Please spread this around if you can, and if you are a minor, don’t bother interacting with these scumbags. It’s not worth putting yourself in danger to call these people out or try to get them to see the error of their ways. Stay safe everyone!
It looks like the “Creator” of the flag is @/dont-mistake-our-geography, she is an avid MAP supporter and possible MAP herself. She has her main blog in her title under “stennastims” which she says she’ll follow from! So, if you get followed from either! Block them!
The older I get, the more I find heterosexual couples so…weird. It’s not that men and women are inherently different in irreconcilable ways, is that they’re socialized to believe they are, and it shows in how male/female couples interact. There is this awkward, unnecessary communication barrier between them based on their perceived gender differences. This obviously doesn’t apply to all heterosexual couples; I’m sure there are plenty with great communication and so on. But the large majority of the ones I’ve encountered in the past few years just don’t. It’s uncomfortable to watch.
One overlooked thing that really sets the Lord of the Rings films apart from other franchises is how earnest they are-
Most movies are so afraid of being “cheesy” that whenever they say something like “friendship is the most powerful force in the world” they quickly undercut it with a joke to show We Don’t Really Believe That! ;) Even Disney films nowadays have the characters mock their own movie’s tropes (”if you start singing, I’m gonna throw up!”) It’s like winking at the camera: “See, audience? We know this is ridiculous! We’re in on the joke!”
But Lord of the Rings is just 12.5 hours of friendship and love being the most powerful forces in the world, played straight. Characters have conversations about how much their home and family and friends mean to them, how hope is eternal, how there is so much in the world that’s worth living for…. and the film doesn’t apologize for that. There’s no winking at the audience about How Cheesy and Silly All This Is; it’s just. Completely in earnest.
And when Lord of the Rings does “lean on the fourth wall” to talk about storytelling within the film, it’s never to make jokes about How Ridiculous These Storytelling Tropes are (the way most films do)…. but instead to talk about how valuable these stories can be. Like Sam’s Speech at the end of the Two Towers: the greatest stories are ones that give you something to believe in, give you hope, that help you see there are things in a bleak violent world that are worth living for
Earnestness is so much cooler than all the hip cynicism in the world. You go LOTR
“Ordinary fortune-tellers tell you what you want to happen; witches tell you what’s going to happen whether you want it to or not. Strangely enough, witches tend to be more accurate but less popular.”
Date the being that can be found, peeking out at you in the facets of jewels. A shimmer of light as the crystal turns in your hands. They follow you in panes of glass and camera lenses, hopping from one to the next on a walk around the material plane. They love this world you live in, but they love you most of all.
my art peaked wen i was 4 or so and would just throw whatever shit i could find (juice, rainwater, plants, moss, shells, dirt, sugar, soap, rocks, milk, toys etc.) in2 a bucket n stir it with a wooden spoon 4 hours sitting in th garden n wen som1 would ask me wot th fuck i was doing i would b like “Potion”
the greatest skill a woman can learn for herself is self reliance
to clarify … so many strong women in my life rely on men. that dependence is dangerous. ladies here are some good ref resources I’ve found helpful on my journey towards self reliance
this list is in no way comprehensive feel free to add on
a lot of ‘man things’ are a lot easier than you think they are. especially considering the fact that most of these things when buying the parts come with directions on the packaging that men usually don’t even look at (and often end up doing it wrong because they were taught by fathers who also did not look at the packaging).
like i recently had to change my car battery and freaked out cause i thought id electrocute myself but turns out new batteries come with directions and its the easiest shit in the world so long as you can lift the damn thing.
so yeah, ladies dont ever feel like a man is a necessity for life, you can do this shit on your own its easier than you think!
if you’re irish and you complain about britain “erasing culture” but can’t even speak the language/ don’t know shit about ireland before 1910 then just shut your cakehole nobody cares
Them being Irish and not being able to speak the language/not knowing shit about Ireland before 1910 is a direct result of Britain erasing culture, you goddamn Vitamin D-deficient circus clown
Instead of a “ladies craft night” or whatever, we should have a “witches night in” where we make homemade evps, create sigils and spells, and do kitchen witchcraft & seances. You know, just your average bff slumber party.
A little while ago, I realized that there is NO info on what bones to use for what. I was clueless and had no idea where to begin. Research was fruitless and asking others came with no results.
So I sat down during preap algebra 2 and made my own list.
These are my own correspondences, based off of what I felt like and remembering bits of spells I’d thought about. They are 100% my own, taken from no one.
Please give me credit if you use it anywhere else :)
I also know I haven’t included every bone out there, if I missed one msg me, I’ll give it some thought and see what happens! :D
▪Teeth- communication, learning other language, news, defense
▪Skull- thoughts, divination, communication, spirit work, astral
▪Spine- support, confidence, level headed
▪Arm- help, blocking (curses, hexes, psychic attacks, etc)
▪Wrist- flexibility, hard work
▪Hand- art, artistic ability, creativity, energy
▪Fingers- fluidity, progress, endurance
▪Nails/ claws- fighting, protection, finding things out, knowledge, struggle, balance
▪Rib- agility, protection
▪Hip- ebdurance, keeping it together
▪leg- endurance, travel, strength
▪Ankle- movement, moving on, catalyst
▪Foot- endurance, moving on, leaving things behind, hard work, independence, luck
▪Toe- balance, help, prosperity, money, changing luck (for the better or worse)
▪Tail- (like actual bones in the animals tail, not the tailbone) agility, secrecy, alarm, cursing
(Edited to include:)
▪Antlers- strength, endurance, masculine energy, (if you’re Wiccan, the horned God), protection, more centered toward nature and earth, deflecting curses, and hope.
▪Horns- wealth, the home, determination, aggressive protection, more centered toward that which is man made, and cursing
(Second edit)
▪Wings- adventure, deviating from the norm, sending/ receiving messages, travel, starting a new adventure/ path, hope, luck, wishes, comfort (let it be amplifying or taking away)
The type of bird would also affect the correspondences; the wing bones, to me, would increase the things the bird stands for
“When you run after your thoughts, you are like a dog chasing a stick: every time a stick is thrown, you run after it. Instead, be like a lion who, rather than chasing after the stick, turns to face the thrower. One only throws a stick at a lion once.”
Witches do not always stand with their feet inside of a salt circle.
They do not perpetually speak in chants, nor do they weigh their pockets witch pillar candles and incense sticks.
You can find them in coffee shops, whispering to their cup as they stir it purposefully in a counterclockwise direction (banishing whatever flack they got earlier).
You can find a witch in the dressing room of a thrift shop, touching the mirror and enchanting it to show the onlooker how beautiful they are, no matter what they wear.
You can find them in animal shelters, cuddling with the black dog or cat, debating whether or not they can take them home.
You can find a witch in demolished cities, drawing sigils in the dust. You can find them planting gardens for food when a hurricane or tornado stole every seed ever planted in the area.
You can find them fiddling with a phone, cleaning off the screen to scry with. They blow away the grime, the energy, and the distractions.
You can find a witch hesitating as they hand a document to the mailcarrier- “wait, I forgot something, they say, kissing their letter before sending it.
You can find them in libraries, sifting through the pages of a book called “Wuthering Heights”. They flip to a seemingly meaningless page… But you’re wrong. They’re not finding out what happens later. They are divining their future (stichomancy is a wonderful tool).
You can find a witch anywhere, doing anything. And what they do with intent, energy, and power is magic.
There’s a shop near me, owned by an older woman with deep, practical knowledge of herbal medicine.
The front portion of her shop sells cooking supplies and spices, cards, little artsy things, and local goods like soaps and crocheted blankets. But the back was, at one point, my nightmare and laughing stock all at once.
An entire section dedicated to ‘flower fairies’ and ‘light fairies’. Little glittery kits of herbs and stones, with guides so even the mundane-est person could get money, or love, or good luck, with the power of magic. The ‘fluffiest’ of fluffy witchcraft, as I used to think of it. And that’s not even counting the ‘angel spirit classes’, or the rune casting lessons by White Mother of Three, pseudonym, “Cleopatra”.
And yet…
Her classes are never rained out. Her little altar area, dedicated (as far as I could tell) to the Gods-of-Resin-Collectable-Dragons and a Barbie doll, always has fresh flowers and cookies. Her shop prospers through every local and country-wide economic disaster, and has paved the way for other similar shops to open in her area.
And she has power. When she speaks, people listen, though her voice is gentle and matter of fact. If my power, at one point, was laid out next to hers…no doubt it would appear as a small, angry spark next to an ocean of gentle light.
With that said…I guess the moral of this little story is such:
Don’t mock the gentle witches, the Fairy believers and the candle-wishers. Don’t laugh at their books, or their collections of angel statues. Their ‘healing light’ or happiness spells of sprinkles and joy.
You don’t know their power, their Powers, their Gods. Don’t be like me, and laugh up your sleeve at their songs, or their paintings of beautiful ladies holding butterflies.
Let them be. Or better yet, learn from them. Don’t make my mistakes.
Look at how much time I lost that I could have been friends with her, and could have traded secrets!
🌿 burn cedar sticks or cedar incense. cedar helps drive away negative influences, energies, and spirits. really good herb to work with when moving into a new space. helps with protection on all levels.
🌿 sprinkle a blend of salt, sage, and mint on the floors to soak up all the negative energies on the ground and vacuum up when you feel it has picked everything up. clean out all that salt from your vaccuun and dispose of it in the trash outside (not in nature)
🌿 diffuse lavender oil. lavender oil is very protective and helps bring serenity and peace into a space.
🌿 manifest abundance and prosperity by meditating with citrine and placing it in your home. place a clear quartz next to it to amplify abundant energies
🌿 make a crystal gird out of selenite, black tourmaline and white jade. these crystals will create a barrier of protection around your house and they will cleanse the hell out of it.
🌿 place pieces of selenite in windowsills, this will purify energy coming in and out of the house. immediately raises the vibration of the room
🌿 when burned, palo santo releases a cleansing smoke filled with healing energies. great for filling spaces with good health and fortune
🌿 ask your spirits/deities to cleanse, protect, and bless your space and leave them offerings when you are done
🌿 sandalwood incense raises vibrations, cleanses, offers psychic protection, and helps to open up psychic awareness
🌿 amethyst is not only a enhances the intuition and increases calm energies, it is also very protective and will shield you from psychic attacks
🌿 work with the elements for protection, meditation and visualization works well
🌿 visualize an impenetrable bubble of protection surrounding your home protecting you from all lower energies
🌿 visualize a waterfall pouring into your space washing away all stagnant and negative energy leaving your space with abundant and healthy energy
🌿 put mint leaves all around your house, in your windowsills, in your shoes, jewelry boxes, altar, etc. to protect you from evil intentions. also good for protecting your home from misfortune
🌿 wind chimes will warn you when a negative spirit is around, there sound will also help drive them off your property
🌿 cinnamon is extremely protective, i love dressing candles with ground cinnamon for cleansing and protection
🌿 burning dragon’s blood incense will create a wall of fire protecting you and your space, also a really good incense for clearing bad spirits
🌿 sleep with a lavender sachet underneath your pillow to protect you from psychic vampires
🌿 labradorite protects you and your home from demons

Please, please, PLEASE be cautious near the edge. Don’t play around, don’t do yoga or parkour, don’t get closer for the perfect selfie. You often don’t hear about it, but a LOT of people die from falling each year. It can happen to you. Think about the people you affect by a couple seconds of getting to close:
Yourself.
Anyone who saw you fall.
Your life.
Your friends and family.
Everything you’ve built.
The rescuers that have to get you.
YOU.
Sincerely, a rescuer who carried the body of a teenager back to his sobbing parents today.
(I know this is sad, but I care about all of you and don’t want your life to be gone because you decided to drink/play around/get a good picture near a drop. It may seem worth it in the moment, but it’s not.)

You have to communicate with the spirit who inhabits that grave if you want to properly collect graveyard dirt.Click here to learn how to properly collect graveyard dirt.As always, feel free to add on, and have a beautiful day!!! °+(*´∀`)b°+°
gosh but like we spent hundreds of years looking up at the stars and wondering “is there anybody out there” and hoping and guessing and imagining
because we as a species were so lonely and we wanted friends so bad, we wanted to meet other species and we wanted to talk to them and we wanted to learn from them and to stop being the only people in the universe
and we started realizing that things were maybe not going so good for us– we got scared that we were going to blow each other up, we got scared that we were going to break our planet permanently, we got scared that in a hundred years we were all going to be dead and gone and even if there were other people out there, we’d never get to meet them
and then
we built robots?
and we gave them names and we gave them brains made out of silicon and we pretended they were people and we told them hey you wanna go exploring, and of course they did, because we had made them in our own image
and maybe in a hundred years we won’t be around any more, maybe yeah the planet will be a mess and we’ll all be dead, and if other people come from the stars we won’t be around to meet them and say hi! how are you! we’re people, too! you’re not alone any more!, maybe we’ll be gone
but we built robots, who have beat-up hulls and metal brains, and who have names; and if the other people come and say, who were these people? what were they like?
the robots can say, when they made us, they called us discovery; they called us curiosity; they called us explorer; they called us spirit. they must have thought that was important.
